Meet the Owners of The Happy Puppy
We are Aimee & Martin, long-term couple and lover of dogs.
We are pet parents to a 15 year old shih-tzu poodle, Maisy. It breaks our heart, but we had to say goodbye to our other shih-tzu poodle, Maiya, in March of 2024.
We have been dog sitting through Rover since 2017 and found it to be one of the most rewarding decisions we ever made. We have loved opening our home to so many different dogs over the years.
In 2023 we decided to become independent, fully insured pet sitters and The Happy Puppy was born!
Aimee runs her own practice as a nurse practitioner and Martin is a professional ballroom dance teacher. Our schedules allow for some flexibility and the dogs are never alone for more than 6 hours at a time.

MAISY
Maisy is truly the original happy puppy since she is our oldest, however, she is more like an introverted cat in her old age. She loves naps, toys, and walks in her doggy stroller.

MAIYA
Maiya was our sweet dog blessed with poor genetics. Cancer forced us to remove most of her lower jaw along with her back left leg, and is ultimately what led to us having to put her down in March of 2024. She will always remain one of the original happy puppies.
