Dog Boarding FAQs
HOW MANY DOGS DO YOU TAKE AT A TIME?
This will vary, and the number is usually higher on holidays. It’s not uncommon for us to have anywhere from 2-5 clients at a time. Most of our clients are repeat customers so we know that they get along well with other dogs. We also do a meet and greet with all potential new clients.
DO YOU REQUIRE THE DOGS TO BE IN A KENNEL WHEN YOU AREN’T THERE?
No. If this is what your dog is used to and what you prefer then we are happy to continue that routine (kennel not provided).
HOW LONG WILL THE DOGS BE LEFT ALONE?
Aimee and Martin do both work outside the home. Aimee works from home on Mondays but is in clinic Tuesday-Fridays. Martin doesn’t start his days until early afternoon, so he is home with the dogs in the morning, while Aimee is there in the evenings. The dogs are usually never left alone for more than 6 hours at a time.
DO YOU HAVE A FENCED YARD?
Yes, we have a tall privacy fence in the backyard.
WHAT DO I NEED TO SUPPLY FOR MY DOG?
You are required to supply all of the food your dog will need for the duration of the stay (sending extra is always a good idea in case of travel delays), along with a leash and harness if your dog normally uses one for walks. We have plenty of food bowls, a large automatic water bowl, treats, toys, and pet waste bags.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes, we are fully insured through PCI.
